The party is pulled into a story book of a whimsical, felt-crafted version of the classic holiday tale, "A Christmas Carol". Inside the book, everyone becomes Feltfolk (plush puppet-like beings stitched from felt and stuffing) and quickly discover that something is eating its way through the story itself.
A voracious narrative worm is tearing holes in the plot, threatening to devour key moments, beloved characters, and Christmas itself. Guided by a very opinionated Feltfolk version of Charles Dickens, the party must survive cinematic encounters, protect civilians, and keep the story intact long enough for redemption to take hold.
This adventure is designed to be tight, funny, and easy to run, with encounters intentionally capped at three rounds to keep momentum high and spotlight moving at larger tables.
This Adventure ends by transporting characters back to where they were before being magically taken into the book and they return to their original selves. The only thing that remains from their adventure is memories, and maybe a Potion of Feltfolk. Perfect for a "Holiday episode" in an on-going campaign.
